About this site
Gemalto’s blogs feature opinions, news and conversations about many areas of our Digital Security business and related industries. Our devices, software and services are sold to other businesses but are in the hands of billions of people around the world. Subsequently we sell to very diverse organizations including Telecom Operators, Banks, Governments, Enterprises as well as Industry & Utilities through our Machine-to-Machine activity.
The aim of the blog is to highlight the main issues of the day via the Blog home and if possible create specific blogs for these markets. At launch you will see we are starting with a focus on Telecoms. The bloggers are Gemalto employees from around the world (there are more than 10,000 of us out there). We hope to be interesting and reactive but please forgive us if we’re a little slow in getting back to you as we all have very busy day jobs.
We are open to ideas for conversation threads and you can see our comments policy below, although we don’t think there’s anything that should surprise you.
Comment moderation policy
Gemalto moderates comments on our blogs prior to publication. We never censor comments based on an opinion we disagree with. We only delete comments do one or more of the following (based on the sensible Huffington Post policy):
- are abusive, off-topic, use foul language
- include attacks, including comments that celebrate the death or illness of any person or business
- contain racist, sexist, homophobic and other slurs
- are solicitations and/or advertising for personal blogs and websites
- thread spamming (you’ve posted this same comment elsewhere)
- are posted with the explicit intention of provoking other commenters or the authors of our blogs
- contains content that may infringe the copyright or intellectual property rights of others or other applicable laws or regulations
- contain commercially sensitive or confidential information
If your comment does not trigger one of these issues and has not yet been published, it may be awaiting moderation. Please bear with us, or email us to prod us along.
