It was all the rage at CES earlier this year, from connected cars to Google Glasses and Pebbles, wearable technology is taking the world by storm. Naturally, many are wondering how much of a focus it will be at next week’s Mobile World Congress where the titans and emerging start-ups of the mobile and telecoms spheres get together to show their latest developments and swap stories.
While wearable technology is indeed a hot topic and one that even consumers are taking note of, our area of interest lies in the technology that makes it possible in the first place. Whether you call it the Internet of Things, machine to machine (M2M) communications or smart technology, we are exploring many ways of bringing the benefits of wearables, M2M and the Internet of Things to our customers and their consumers.
Whether a smart darts game, connected recycling containers, on-demand connectivity for M2M and consumer devices, we believe strongly in digital solutions that can enhance your life. And we’d like to hear from you which technologies you believe will change your digital lifestyle.
Tell us which technologies you’re most enamored by and stand to win a wearable device – a Jawbone UP Fitness Tracking Wristband. All you have to do is tweet or share on Instagram your views and perceptions of the latest Gemalto or technology news at Mobile World Congress. What have you seen or heard that inspires you?
Alternatively, if you are at Mobile World Congress, come see one of our demos (Hall 5 at Stand 5A80) and tweet or share what you saw (@Gemalto), and what you thought of the demo using the hashtag #GemaltoMWC. For example, tell us which technologies would be most welcome in your daily life.
And at the end of Tuesday 25th February and Wednesday 26th February, the most insightful or creative entry posted (selected by us) will win a Jawbone UP Fitness Tracking Wristband. You can also find more at #GemaltoMWC on Twitter.
We will be showcasing an array of technologies and innovations both in the M2M and Internet of Things space but also in Mobile Commerce, Mobile Security and Mobile Connectivity. Tell us what technology you think is most game-changing in your digital lifestyle and which one of our demos inspires you most. And win Jawbone UP Fitness Tracking Wristband! Come and find us in Hall 5 at Stand 5A80.
