One of my colleagues, Anne Meilhac (@AnneMeilhac), who is an active member of the Mobile Marketing community, recently attended the Mobile Retail Masterclass. The event, held in London and run by the folks at www.mobilemarketingmagazine.com, put retailers and solution providers together in the the same room to discuss this burgeoning market.
The event was chaired by James Cameron (@jamescameron) and featured short presentations followed by informal roundtable discussions or “speed dating” as one attendee put it. The Masterclass was filmed and the video below shows the topics of discussion which included CRM, customer interaction and the need to monetize mobile visitors to traditional web properties. Participants came from different markets and included Whitbread, Royal Mail, O2 and others. Watch out for Anne towards the end of the clip.
